"Just a spot of birding at our local park and this happened. I've got to stop dressing in green and thinking be still like a tree. I feel like a Disney princess (albeit years after filming when they have become old and crazy and someone no longer does their hair and makeup). I tried to scrape it off with one finger and it climbed onto that finger - it was like mobile chuddy or a sticking plaster, and I strongly resisted the urge to flick my hand. I managed to coax him onto an actual tree branch. His Mum turned up and growled. Called him an idiot.

Any chance anybody has a corner sofa for cheap/free? Will be moving house soon and need a corner sofa due to living room layout but they are incredibly expensive. Sofa doesn't need to be in perfect condition, would be grateful for any offers :)

DG Marilyn Stevens kindly presented the badges.
📷📷She congratulated David for almost thirty years of service and thanked him for his contributions to such events as the 4x4 Safari, the bookfairs, plantings, the garden tour, and for doing guest speaker write-ups for three years.
She offered congratulations to Nick for his service and thanked him for the contributions made in his year of the inaugural Graeme Press RYLA Award, the start of a new Whitby Probus Club and for receiving the District 9940 Public Image Award for the Teardrop Campaign, among others. Following his thanks, Nick suggested that Rotary International might take advantage of the message given at the Royal Coronation when King Charles III had emphasised service to the community.

After having long Covid for over a year, I had to leave my job and change my life. I just wasn't getting any better. Anyway, long story short, I've retrained as a yoga nidra and restorative yoga teacher - relaxation! Gentle poses, breathing, and listening to a gentle guided voice basically saved me last year. Now I'm supporting others who need some relief from anxiety, stress, body aches, tension, and feeling *hitty. I teach from my own experience and I hope I can be of use. 5-class series BeCalm Yourself starts the week of 4 June. Wednesday night Yoga Nidra classes available too. Small classes - 4 only - so I'll be able to get to know you and what's best for you. Check out my business listing on Neghbourly too. Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou. www.becalmedstudio.com...
