A December 1 deadline has been given to fix major problems with Wellington's struggling new bus network. The eight-week deadline would make sure buses were on time and there was enough space on them. Read more here.
GWRC has also agreed to:
- Extend the route 18e service to a seven-day a week service including service between 6 – 8 PM, from Miramar North to Karori South, providing direct connections to Newtown, the Hospital, Massey University and Victoria University Kelburn Campus
- To reinstate the route 14 service to start from the Kilbirnie hub rather than Hataitai
- Investigate options, a timeframe and implications for route splitting the Route No 2 to provide direct off-peak services from Strathmore Park and Miramar North to the CBD
- Identify options and a timeframe for putting in place morning and evening peak hour services for Route 23 between Mornington/Vogeltown and the Golden Mile;
- Identify options for extending the No 23e (to service the Zoo off-peak)
- Investigate the potential to join the No 12/20/21 services; the No 20/21 services; and/or the No 14/12 services across the City

I'm trying to find a queen sized bed (base and mattress) that is in good condition and from a smoke free home. Please message me if you can help out!
If you can drop it off I can pay extra! Cheers

During WOW, we have extended shopping hours on the weekends, opening for your convenience from 9.00am on Saturdays and 9.30am on Sundays.
There’s so much to do at the Old Bank Arcade; it’s a place where you can shop at the many boutique stores, enjoy a delicious coffee or a bite to eat or view the Old Bank clock. Every hour on the hour the intricate clock opens to reveal animated scenes that relate to the history of the arcade site. You can bank on this and more at the Old Bank!

Last year saw a national shortage of Swan plants, the main diet of Monarch caterpillars, causing a large number of the population to be wiped out.
Yates is getting behind the drive to avert a similar crisis this year by giving away various free butterfly friendly seeds including Yates new Butterfly Field Mix seeds between 1st and 14th October. Just register here during this time to receive your packet of seeds.
A national planting day will be held on 20th October. Plant a Swan plant or other butterfly friendly plants in your garden, in your neighbour’s garden, at school, in your local community garden – and let’s help Monarch butterflies flourish.
National Gardening Week aims to foster a love of gardening with a focus on growing not only plants but friendships, good health, strong communities and closer connections with nature.
