Got an opinion on fireworks? Share it with us

Georgia Reporter from Stuff

Hi neighbours,

Is it time to ban the private sale of fireworks in favour of public displays only? Or is Guy Fawkes just a bit of flammable fun?

Would you like to see tighter restrictions on fireworks or are you a sparkler fiend who sees no problem with celebrating safely at home?

"It's coming up to summer and people will be in a hot car with their chicken in a canvas bag ... and suddenly, you've got a real serious case for poor food hygiene."

Food safety expert Steve Flint said it was a valid concern. Read more here

What could be a solution here? How could staff at the childcare place stop a very young kid from biting? Talk with its parents?
She says the place normally does an awesome job - she's just sick of the biting!

Should the kids have been made to stand?

They had headphones on and were entertained. A woman in her 50s got on the train with a friend. She walked up to where the kids were sitting, sort of gave them a long look, then stood at the end of the carriage once it was obvious they were not worried. The woman, who was you know average weight etc before we get into that sort of thing, then complained to her friend about the kids and especially their mum for not shifting.
I am not sure if she is right or wrong here.
If the mum told the kids to move for the women, they might’ve got bored on the long trip - at least a half hour or more - and maybe got dirty sitting on the floor or annoyed people on the busy train right?
So what should happen?
The women did not appear physically disabled - just grumpy.
