A big shout out to Karori, who managed to secure the suburb of the week title. Awesome work Karorians!
A relatively wet week last week meant that overall people around the region have been keeping demand below the 160 million litre per day (MLD) target which is awesome to see.

All this rain has been good for your gardens and our catchments, however just because it's raining doesn't mean we should stop conserving water.
Drinking water is a precious resource, so make sure you're not wasting it. If you're worried about your gardens and lawn not having enough water when the weather heats up, start collecting rain water now! Rain water is a great option to give your garden some extra love as we look to enter the warmer months.
Our top #waterlovers tip this week is turn the tap off when brushing your teeth! Don't let litres of our precious drinking resource pour straight down the drain.

Metlink spokeswoman Emily Liddell said the cause of the power outage along a portion of track in Kaiwharawhara, which is used by the train line, is unknown.
The power outage was first recorded at 7.30am on Tuesday. It had caused the Hutt Valley, Melling, and Wairarapa lines to also be suspended, but those services had now resumed.
However, commuters should expect delays as services returned to normal.
Kāpiti trains have been replaced by buses between Porirua and Wellington, but there are limited buses are available. Trains will be operating between Waikanae and Porirua but will not be running to timetable.
Metlink buses 60E, 236, and 290 will be accepting rail tickets while rail services are suspended.

Christmas is supposed to be the jolliest time of year - full of whimsical family reunions, selfless gift-giving and Masterchef-worthy feasts.
But sometimes this just isn't captured on camera. We're after those amazingly awkward Christmas moments that have been captured on film.
Maybe it was the time you went to visit Santa and your little one didn't want a bar of it. Maybe it was a self-timed family shot that went horribly awry. Or a Christmas meal that was more a festive fail.
Whatever the not-so-merry moment, we want to see it! Share your pictures and a little bit about them with us in Stuff Nation. We look forward to seeing them! Here's the link to contribute.
