2. … View moreVM provides a FREE volunteer matching service which connects people to opportunities around Wairau/Marlborough. Here's how it works:
1. You can visit our website (www.volunteermarlborough.org.nz) to browse opportunities or make an appointment to talk through your options with VM staff.
2. You select up to 3 opportunities and apply online or with one of our staff.
3. The organisation and you then meet to discuss the volunteering opportunity further. Some organisations will do an informal interview.
4. Then, if you decide that an opportunity is a good fit for you, the next step is to fill in any paperwork (e.g. criminal record check and volunteer agreement).
5. After that, all that is left to do is start volunteering!
Volunteer Marlborough is here to support all volunteers through this process as much as each individual needs. If you have questions or concerns during any part of this process, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

The Blenheim Lions Club have sadly decided to close their community firewood stall on Wither Rd in Blenheim due to people taking wood without paying. Last year the stall raised $6270 for the charitable service organisation.
