The Thames Valley Rugby Football Union has commissioned a new jersey based on the original 1951 colours of gold with a scarlet band and it has been met with widespread approval.
Members of a newly formed supporters club will be wearing similar colours.

The initiative, which began at the end of term two, will see hundreds of Boomerang Bags … View moreYear 11-12 students at Paeroa College have joined the effort to get rid of plastic bags, by making reusable cloth Boomerang Bags as part of their Friday Fabric Academy, with help from community volunteers.
The initiative, which began at the end of term two, will see hundreds of Boomerang Bags distributed to Paeroa stores for shoppers wanting to ditch the plastic. The bags are made from donated materials and will display a Paeroa Boomerang Bags logo. Shoppers can keep the bags for future use or return them to the shop for others to use.
