Another scam alert
This one is a warning that supposedly your car rego is about to expire and you had better send them some money straight off.
Fake NZTA email - not too badly done except, in my case, the sender's email address was in the Japan domain. Also, the amount was a silly 80odd dollars.
Be careful and read it before clicking on anything.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
