Members of the Kapiti Lions Club are ordinary people from all walks of life who enjoy getting together to serve their community and protect the environment.
The club’s primary focus is to identify a particular need within the Kapiti community and endeavour to undertake projects to resolve it either by utilising their manpower resources or initiating fundraising activities. We help where help is needed.
Members enjoy friendship & fun while undertaking this voluntary work and get satisfaction from the knowledge that what they do can make a difference.

Come along tomorrow and support Kapiti's only midweek market. Mahara Place, Waikanae from 11am - 1.30pm outside the empty shops every Tuesday. We have a good variety of stalls with new ones coming in the next few weeks.

Sunday will be a day with mainly clothes, shoes, bags etc. but I will get all of the bric a brac out of the garage, as well as tools, gardening gear etc as I have learned today, that people are more interested in good hardware, rather than clothes ha ha!
