Would love some to extend my corner. Happy to pay for them and collect (after lockdown). Bare rooted is fine. I looked for plants in the various nurseries and balked at the price of $25. They are generally not heirloom plants and are said to only last about 8 years on average. Love to be proven wrong on this point though.

This is to let you know that this help is available for them.
"The Warmer Kiwi Homes grants for insulation and an efficient heater are available for lower-income homeowners.
Grants cover 80% of the cost of ceiling and underfloor insulation and/or an efficient heater. Heater grants are capped at $3,000.
EECA’s Warmer Kiwi Homes Manager Eddie Thompson says a warm, dry home is especially important New Zealanders who may spend more time at home.
“There’s evidence showing a warm and insulated home helps protect you from respiratory disease and reduces hospitalisations and the number of GP visits.”
Warmer Kiwi Homes received an additional $120 million in the recent Budget to extend the programme to 30 June 2023. This additional funding will allow an estimated additional 47,000 insulation or efficient heater retrofits to be completed under the programme.
To find out if you are eligible free call 0800 749 782 or complete the easy online tool on the EECA website. ( govt.us7.list-manage.com... )"

The four new cases announced Wednesday morning were all linked to the 58-year-old Devonport man – a tradesman – who tested positive on Tuesday. The four include a colleague of the man and close contacts, including a nurse who works at Auckland hospital.
The entire country is at the highest alert level for at least three days while Auckland and Coromandel, where the man spent the weekend, are at level 4 for at least seven days. A list of locations of interest can be found here.
Level 4 means it’s likely that the disease is not contained.
Testing and vaccinations
A full list of community testing centres can be found here. If you think you need a test, call Healthline first on 0800 358 5453. If you get tested, stay home until you have a negative test result. There is no charge to get a test, regardless of your citizenship, immigration status, nationality or medical insurance.
You will need to supply contact details to get a test. A National Health Index (NHI) number is good to have but not crucial.
The most common test is a swab to the back of your nose, which some people describe as a “tickle” and others say is “uncomfortable.”
The vaccination programme has been put on hold for 48 hours. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said it was to ensure the safety of frontline health workers, as officials tried to get to grips with how wide the latest community case may have spread.
Stay at home
People are instructed to stay home in their bubble other than for essential movement. Safe recreational activity is allowed in the local area but, given the Delta variant is suspected, even more caution is recommended from others to limit transmission.

Given that they are attached to sturdy frames, which have also disappeared, we do not believe this is a natural act of wind but instead that someone has taken them down for some reason.
If you know anything about the missing signs please let us know - the material that makes up the frame & the corflute for the sign itself is not cheap and, as a community theatre, any unnecessary costs like having to replace these signs is money that isn't being spent on bringing community theatre to Kapiti.
Thanks in advance for any information anyone might have.
On a more positive note, bookings are open for the show and tickets can be purchased from Eventfinda at www.eventfinda.co.nz... :)

Sweetpea, is an absolute sweetheart, confident and brave but so soft and gentle, could say he’s quite the gentleman. The perfect mix of playfulness has speed and agility but also loves his pats and scratches. Great with other cats.
Nasher, is much like his brother, curious and playful, loves a belly rub. But unlike his brother he’s a little bit more reserved upon first meeting someone new, will come out of his shell when he gets to know you
Given that the boys are mainly white, especially near their face and ears. They would need to live as indoor-only cats or have sunblock applied to their ears if allowed out. This is to prevent skin cancer from developing.
They are lovely pair, who would be great together, but could also be adopted separately. If going individually it would be ideal to find a home that has another cat or dog.
Please visit our info page under the adoption tab to learn about adopting from us.
www.forgottenfelines.org.nz...
Before setting up a meet and greet, We ask for any potential adopters to fill out our questionnaire below
www.forgottenfelines.org.nz...
As with all of our adoptable cats, he is looking for a home that can commit to keeping him inside at night. Any young kittens need to remain indoor-only until at least 6 months of age and cats over 6 months old for at least 4 weeks before going outside.
