This morning's earthquake was a magnitude 5.9 earthquake followed closely by a 5.3 near Porangahau in the southern Hawke's Bay. You might feel some aftershocks – this is to be expected, but remember to Drop, Cover, and Hold for any earthquake you feel.
Shakes like this are a good reminder to make sure we are prepared in case of an emergency. Our friends at Wellington Region Emergency Management Office have lots of great tips or visit our website for more – www.kapiticoast.govt.nz...

As a post script to that, some unidentified person put another anti-mask wearing leaflet addressed to me personally. If people feel so strongly about their views they should identify themselves.
This time I have received an "anti-co-governance" propaganda booklet in my "addressed mail only" box. I have emailed a complaint to the author - Julian Batchelor and asked him to identify the people or persons responsible for delivering the booklets.
I am going overseas soon and don't have time to get into any lengthy debates as happened last time. However I felt Neighbourly members needed to be alerted to the fact that this invasion on my privacy has happened again. Wendy Grylls

You can sign up as an individual, or as team, such as a workplace. Regardless, each person must raise $1000 or more to qualify for a free jump.
When you sign up you'll get to choose where you jump and which region you'd like your funds to go to - these don't have to be the same, they could be at opposite ends of the country.
If you don't know where you want to jump yet, that's absolutely fine. Your local Cancer Society team can talk you through your options and help you pick the jump site that's right for you.
Stop hesitating, go on, sign up now!
