The meeting will be held at the Baptist Church Hall, Te Moana Road, Waikanae on Tuesday 10th September, between 10am and 12pm. These are the people who want to represent you in deciding how much you will pay in rates and where that money will be spent. Come along, hear their proposals and let them know what is important to you by asking the hard questions. Organised by Kapiti Greypower as a public service.

People have received a text message saying there has been an attempt to deliver a parcel to the recipient's address. The scammers then direct them to a website which asks for the tracking number they provided, and the payment of a $3.25 delivery fee. The scammers then have credit card and personal details.
Police advise to ignore the message and let family and friends know - especially the elderly and vulnerable. If you believe you're a target of a scam, report it to Netsafe's Orb immediately.

Come to our CABK workshop upstairs in the Rimu Room in Coastlands Shopping Mall next Wednesday morning and bring your friends - we have to get the word out to as many people as we can so that the vulnerable and desperate, particularly those who aren't as familiar with computer technology, aren't fleeced by these awful people!

Good morning all!
By any chance is anyone looking to get rid of a rowing machine?
I’m in the middle of setting up a home gym in the garage and am also interested in hearing about other machines and equipment if they’re going too.
Thank you!
Shelly
