What a culture shift, NZ! Dog owners pick up their dog poo and the streets are so much cleaner. EXCEPT recently in Waikanae Beach North. The proposal is for the construction of 135 medium density town houses & 165 car parks. See Kapiti Council website for plans & consent application. The developer in his application to Council has said the impact to all the surrounding areas will be 'minor'...hence their ability to have a very 'limited' notification process.
Whether you agree or disagree surely a major development of this kind should have been open to the wider community to have a say...especially as it will have a huge impact on such things as traffic on an already congested Kapiti Road, etc.
Hearing for limited notified resource consent will be held at Kapiti Council's library meeting room this Thursday & Friday 10/11 Nov 9.30am

King single bed, base (with 2 drawers), and mattress. Very good condition. Some linen is also available.
Wooden desk with two drawers and a steel frame going free. It just needs a coat of paint and a couple of screws to secure the top to the frame. I'm using as a laundry table at present. If you didn't want to paint, it would be good for a garage, or as a potting table.
Very comfy reading chair. Mahogany wood frame. Still good to sit in but if it had a new cushion cover it would be more in vogue. Too good to throw away. **SOLD*

F&P. In good working order. A few small scratches on side, nothing really noticable though. Still clean and fresh on inside. **Sold**
Pea straw is a great mulch for gardens; suppressing weeds or adding as a conditioner to enhance compost. **They have all sold now**
