This will be the last weekend for summer veggie seedlings for those who want to extend their harvest season into autumn.
We have limited new stocks of beans (bush and climbing), zucchini, cucumber, gherkins, capsicum and Zatta Melons - an Italian heirloom variety that is ugly to look at but divine to eat!
It's not too late to plant - our own late seedlings are coming away tremendously fast and the outlook is for a long hot summer/autumn.
Seedlings of winter crops should start to become available late March.
If you are into preserving, I will have preserving jars at next week's markets.
