I run a programme of well structured, topic-based classes and workshops for a wide range of abilities, from beginner to experienced artist. Waka Kotahi said Wellington's Terrace Tunnel is closed to traffic heading southbound, and warned commuters to "expect delays". Northbound lanes near the tunnel are partially blocked and moving slowly.
It's been said that a protester has glued their hands to the road and is needing assistance to be removed.
"Police advise motorists to avoid the area and expect delays."

Wellingtonians are warmly invited to attend the following events:

11.00 am: National Commemoration Service, Pukeahu National War Memorial Park
2.30 pm: Atatürk Memorial Service, Atatürk Memorial, Bowes Crescent, Strathmore
The Dawn and National Commemoration Services will be broadcast live by TVNZ 1 and RNZ National.
