Still a good choice of tomatoes available - some pictured below. We've been planting ours over the past couple of weeks and the growth spurt they put on once in the ground is just amazing. These plants will keep cropping until the first frosts.
Both purple and orange kumara still available - but stocks are getting low.
Also dwarf and climbing round beans plus scarlet runners.
Four different types of basil - great companion plants for tomatoes as well as pesto. Or plant some marigolds with you tomatoes for colour and to protect them against caterpillars.
Capsicum available next week - red, orange, yellow and purple varieties plus manzano chillies - quite hot enough for most tastes!

Homestays come in all shapes and sizes. If you have a spare bedroom or 2, we would love to hear from you.
We are currently looking for homestays, for both short term and long term students.
Why host?
Hosting a student is an enriching experience for both families and students. You’ll experience a true cultural exchange, sharing knowledge of your culture whilst learning about the many different cultures represented by our students. Many of our host families build lasting relationships with their students
What is expected from host families?
Involve their student in their life, treat them as a member of the family.
Be caring and understanding, patient but able to set boundaries
Show their students how to get to and from school (e.g. where the bus stop is, how to find the bus schedule, how to walk to school).
Provide three meals a day and snacks (including a packed lunch during the school week).
Provide a furnished bedroom
Provide bed linen (sheets, pillow, and blankets) and towels
What we provide
The International Department provides you with ongoing advice and support.
Homestay families receive $301 per week.
