I have a downpipe that is 12cm in circumference. I want to attach some sort of flexible hose/pipe to it to take the water to the nearest storm water catchment on my property. Is there someone who can suggest what I should be looking for in the hardware store?

I have loaded the recipe here so that you can try it out. I recommend using Guinness, and of course serving it up with brandy poured over it and set alight. Oh and don't forget the custard. Just tell them it came from Margaret.

Great to see many of the writers recommending the same heirloom varieties that we have been growing and selling for years.
So, this weekend we still have a good selection of tomatoes as well as zucchini, cucumber (including the New Zealand heirloom, Port Albert), gherkins, dwarf and climbing beans, pumpkins and the first basil of the season.
Early pepper and chilli plants should be ready by next week but be aware that any cold snap will set these back and reduce yield unless you have a warm sheltered spot or greenhouse.
