We had a delicious lunch at LINDEN, with a free matched wine with each course & a port to finish, as well as a tasty well-informed humorous wine presentation.. As usual CRAB FARM was quirky & CJ PASK classy. Each year, since 2008, The Gimblett Gravels Winegrowers' Association has hired a Sydney-based Master of Wine to choose his top syrah & blended reds from a single vintage. Of the 6 syrah chosen from the 2018 Vintage Selection, 2 were from Smith & Sheth, We salivated over their excellent wines & appreciated a knowledgable & passionate presenter..PARITUA WINERY'S greatest strength is in their Bordeaux-style red wines. With the help of a high-tech digital sorting machine that photographs every berry, rejecting those with imperfections, Paritua can make good wines from vintages from which many would qual! Bob Campbell says that this stylish, modern winery is one to watch. After tasting their wines, we agree! We also had lunch & an axcellent tasting at BLACK BARN. Two more days on this trip & we'll be redoing the tour 15-18 October, so if you wish to come, get in touch!.

At the October 17 election, New Zealanders will have the opportunity to choose their regional spokesperson.
Through the Mixed Member Proportional (MMP) voting system, those enrolled can vote for the party they want as well as a local representative.
Why does my MP matter?
The person elected will be the voice for your region in Parliament. If you’re having trouble getting entitlements or dealing with Government departments, they can help. If your community needs funding for certain projects or activities, or there isn’t enough healthcare in the area, the elected MP can step in and help.
