A petition is circulating to get curtains added as part of the Healthy Homes Standards in the hopes of helping renters avoid living in cold, damp conditions. Do you think curtains should be mandatory for New Zealand homes?

I am looking for a rental closer to my work and sons school. I live in Waiuku and it's too far, can't seem to find a house maybe because I have a child? I have great references and am very tidy, I also work full time so am able to pay and never missed a payment.
The ideal locations would be Bombay, putamahoe, kingseat, ramarama, pukekohe, clarks beach, Te hihi (my son will be starting school there in October), paerata, Drury any of those areas.
I can pay 450 weekly, 500 would be max and a minimum of 2 bedrooms so my son can have his own room. Please give me a message if there is anything available as I have been looking for a long time.
Thank you very much,
Nikayla
