I would like to get feed back from other people in the neighbourhood on their view on the stupid new bollard lights that are replacing the existing lamp posts that provided good clear lighting.
It is disgusting that some bureaucrat sitting his useless arse in an office has decided to spend large amounts of our money on this project that has placed the safety of these walkways in question.
I live beside the walkway from ashdown place to clarkes road and the new lights are absolutely useless, the walkway is now used less at night due to it being so dark and uninviting. I invite any council or transit staff member and the local police community officer to actually come at night and have a look at the problem the new lights have caused, absolutely bloody ridiculous and unsafe.
several neighbours have contacted council about this but no reply has been given. lets make an issue of this now before any more walkways are affected. I understand that this new light system is to be spread out to all walkways across the area

Having a poor night’s sleep?

We caught up with Dr Angela Campbell, PhD Manager of the WellSleep Centre, University of Otago, Wellington and she provided us with some insights into the most common symptoms women might experience whilst going through menopause, which are insomnia, hot flushes, snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea. Dr Campbell states, “these are all common side effects of menopause and can affect up to 70% of women.” So, if you’re experiencing sleepless nights and suddenly disturbing your partner with this new-found snoring, you’re certainly not alone.

If you are experiencing these symptoms, you might be interested to learn that Patney offer an effective, non-invasive and temperature neutral solution that can assist with controlling your snoring - the Patney sleep positioner, has undergone independent validation testing by the WellSleep Centre, Otago University. We are so confident about the Patney sleep positioner that we offer a 30-day money back guarantee. For further information head across to our website at www.patney.com
