This has been put together by the church members working with the Pukekohe Garden Circle. There is a booklet written to guide you on your journey. There is also a beautiful indoor display in one of the small off the courtyard which is open for you to spend time reflecting on Jesus journey. A booklet is also available for this display. The indoor display has been created by Ann Rollinson and both displays are well worth a visit between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm until 27th April.

We are currently in the process of inspecting and servicing all smoke alarms in our existing dwellings to make sure they are all in working order.
Finally, our Residents and Staff’s health and wellbeing are equally important, and as the flu season is swiftly approaching we encourage our Residents and Staff to get their flu vaccinations at their earliest convenience. This can be done either on site by making an appointment with our Duty Nurse, or at their own doctor’s practice.
Maybe this can be a reminder for all the residents of Wattle Downs to make sure their smoke alarms are all in working order, and to book an appointment for their own flu vaccines at their health professional.

We'll be at St Andrews Anglican Church (43 Queen St, Pukekohe) on Saturday 27th April from 8am to 12 noon with the Charcoal Fire, a Climate Q&A, games and activities for the kids plus a garage sale to grab a bargain from.
And then on Sunday 28th April, from 1pm to 5pm, we'll be at Footbridge Estate (50 Chamberlain Road, Bombay) with the Charcoal Fire and an interesting seminar series (3pm to 4:20pm):
- Biological treatment of pests and diseases (Dr Stephen Ford)
- NZ’s transition to a low emissions economy (Journalist Rod Oram)
- Biochar’s role in sequestering CO2 (localist John Allen)
- Ecotheology: Climate Action from a Church perspective (academic Dr Nicola Hoggard Creegan)
*** Could this be Auckland's first carbon-negative event?
