New Zealand is preparing for a future free trade agreement with the United Kingdom. We’re asking for New Zealanders’ views now, so we can take them into account right from the start of the process.

Key benefits we will be looking for include removing tariffs and other barriers that restrict the flow of goods and services between our countries, and closer cooperation on progressive trade issues, including environmental protections.

To make your voice heard, just answer our quick poll question and share your thoughts.

Food Together Awapuni (Manawatu) is all about providing fresh affordable fruit and veges to our local community and making connections within our community. Especially at St Matthews we love being able to connect and chat to those who pick up their orders each week. We delight in being able to greet most of you by name when you walk in the door. It has also been great for me to meet some of the hospital and Te Tihi customers and make a connection when I have been visiting those pick up points.
Our volunteers are also a vital part of Food Together. They are a caring special group of people and it was heart warming for me to see 20 of them arrive to pack your orders last week. As a group, we particularly look forward to a delicious morning tea, provided by Chrissie each week, and to sit and chat together after packing is completed.

Spread a little happiness in your ‘hood by nominating someone lovely for a Nice Neighbour Award. It could be someone who has helped make a difference in your life - or the lives of others. Someone who has been there in a time of need, has helped your family, surprises and delights the kids, or who regularly volunteers their time to a local charity or sports team.

If your neighbour is picked as this week's Nice Neighbour, you’ll both receive a $25 Prezzy® card plus your special neighbour will feature in community newspapers around New Zealand as an inspiration to us all.

Let us know why your neighbour is so nice by nominating now.
