Poll: Would you commute by public transport if it was free?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Using your car is convenient, except for finding parking.

Cycling lets you leave anytime, but you might arrive soaked.

So, neighbours, if public transport had the perk of being free, would it be your main way to commute?

I stayed with it having called the owners number, then called the Council and waited about 30 minutes for a security company PPS to come and collect her. The man who arrived picked her up face on, by the head - and she screamed in pain. I said "Is she injured? I didn't notice any injury on her before"... The man said "I don't think she liked the way I picked her up!

This is now two weeks ago and I have called the Council to have Animal Control contact me - but no such luck. When i pay as much as I do for Dog Registration, I expect anyone sent by Council to pick her up to be trained in how to do so without hurting her.
I am extremely upset at what i witnessed and then that NO ONE has had the decency to contact me from the Council.
Why do we pay so much for this type of service??
