But due to Covid-19 and lockdown, as a band we did our very best to make sure the Last Post was still heard at some part of our community on behalf of Feilding Brass. We had 4 in Feilding, 1 in Halcombe, 1 in Palmerston North, 1 in Longburn and 2 in Ashhurst play the Last Post & Reveille for our neighbours. A very humbling and honouring experience no matter what instrument it was played on. It was a very special sight to see neighbourhoods come out and support each other during this time. In one spot in Feilding a 9 year girl read out the Ode of Remembrance before the last post played, and that mad the occasion extra special. Feilding Brass looks forward to seeing everyone next year as we all come together once again to remember the fallen.

We invite you to share a memory or photo to commemorate this special day on Neighbourly below. It could be a story of a member in your family who served - or perhaps the way you and your family celebrate ANZAC Day each year. (It might even be a photo of your freshly baked can't be-beaten ANZAC cookies).
We also invite you to take part in Stand at Dawn and join us at 6:00 am on Saturday 25 April. Stand at your letterbox, at the front door, in your lounge rooms, balconies, in your driveway. Wherever you are in the world, stand with us and take a moment to remember our fallen – but please stay within your ‘bubble’.

We’ve been in this together, so we would like to say a heart felt thank you to all our customers, with a special thank you to those that have supported us during level 4.
Ironically, we opened our business on the 25th March 2019 and closed it due to COVID-19, exactly a year to the day. Not quite the birthday celebration we planned, but it was the right one to ensure we get through this period in the safest and healthiest possible way. However, this has been at a significantly reduced capacity.
We are passionate about supporting local because we are Proudly Palmy and we are sure that if we support local business we will build a better and stronger community together.
As we move to Level 3 on Tuesday, we would like to reach out to our neighbours to let you know that through PACK & SEND Palmerston North;
