Bricks to give away free
I removed a decorative fire surround and have a pile of bricks and some tiles. Mostly red bricks with a pattern on one side and some Brown tiles. A few white fire bricks in there also. Please note most bricks are half, a few are full size and there is mortar etc. Free to a good home if anyone can see a use in them, saves adding them to the landfill.
Manawatu Guardian to cease publishing 😔
Sad news that the Manawatu Guardian newspaper is finishing up this month. It’s actually the only newspaper I read faithfully every week! I’d be happy to pay a small subscription to keep it going; hopefully if enough people feel the same, it would have a chance.
