If you or anyone you know will be looking to rehome a small/medium dog in the near future I would appreciate your call.
Maybe you are moving or going to a Retirement Village where you cannot have a pet - or it can be any other reason.

Jeni and I have a rescue shih tzu (7) - she had been very badly treated. Now we have had her 2 years and she is gaining confidence we would like to rehome a doggy as a playmate for her.
We also have another little old shih tzu they are good friends but Daisy is 15, deaf and nearly completely blind, she also has a liver condition. So she’s a companion but not a great playmate.

We have always had three dogs and we are basically looking for another ‘short nosed’ doggy up to spaniel size.

The doggy would not lose touch with its current owner and we would keep in touch with visits/walks - whatever was requested.

We have a nice house looking over the Port and would be happy to have it inspected.
The Ngamoutu Domain is only a few metres from our front door and it’s a favourite place for walks.
Rob Mills at NP Vet Group is our vet for Daisy so any new doggie will be looked after well in case of illness.
All our dogs sleep in our bedroom and are rarely left at home alone.

My mobile is 0212666721 (if I cannot answer I will see your no and phone back) or reply with a phone number on this site.
Thank you —Roger Tonkin

"Being deaf is no barrier to learning and seeing someone like me achieving qualifications and working in a job that has a lot of responsibility has hopefully encouraged them to give it a go.”

When Erich Krogmann started the Food and Beverage Level 2 qualification, he had to learn how to balance study with a night job and a young family, but his main challenge came in the form of his hearing disability.

Erich says he thinks he’s inspired other people with a disability to take on training.
