Lake Rotomanu Family Trout Fishing Day - Saturday 30 October
Grab your fishing gear and bring your kids down to Lake Rotomanu from 8am - 1pm on Saturday 30th October to fish for 500 rainbow trout. Register your kids by visiting or phoning Taranaki Hunting & Fishing on 06 7572255 and get a permit to fish at the lake for the rest of the season. Visit the Inglewood Rod, Gun & Recreation tent by the boat ramp to get help with gear, a free spinner & bbq sausages. Level 2 restrictions apply so please scan the QR code and wear a mask when entering the tent. This is a free event funded by Fish & Game NZ. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
