Open Government Conversation
Do you want the opportunity to shape a government action plan?
Open Government Partnership NZ want to hear from you!
"Aotearoa is a member of the Open Government Partnership, which is an international agreement between 78 countries to try to make governments more open, transparent and accountable in their decision making. It also aims to improve how government incorporates the needs of the public in the design of policy and services, and a huge goal is to encourage active citizenship – when people feel confident to contribute to a change they want to see in their community or at a national level. Every two years the New Zealand Government publishes a National Action Plan outlining some commitments to progress those goals and we want your suggestions."

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
