'Kiss The Sky' in New Plymouth
The New Zealand Dance Company is excited to bring its 2019 Kiss The Sky programme to the home of our accomplished dancer, Katie Rudd, in New Plymouth on Saturday, 4th May at TSB Showplace. Combining the high-octane physicality of Korean choreographer KIM Jae Duk’s ‘Sigan’; and the powerhouse choreography of renowned Stephanie Lake in ‘If Never Was Now’; with the vibrant aesthetic of New Zealand’s Victoria Colombus in her new world premiere work ‘The Fibonacci’, Kiss The Sky is “…exciting, exhausting, exhilarating – and world class” (Otago Daily Times).
Book your tickets now, and join us at an Asian-Pacific constellation of original dance, music and design.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
