The New Zealand Flying Doctors are only partly government-funded, and it is only with the kindness and generosity of the community that we can continue to deliver this life-saving service. With mission numbers increasing each year, the need is greater than ever before.
Today we are asking you to support missions for neonatal and paediatric patients - with over 70 missions a year for children under 15 years of age, we are focused on getting each and every one of them the right medical care.
Your contribution will help save the lives of New Zealand children!

Amy Ridout Reporter from The Nelson Mail
After watching their daughter struggle to get onto the property ladder, a Nelson couple decided to offer their home to first-time buyers, cutting investors out of the equation.
Should more vendors take this stance when selling, to help young families in our community?

We have soil available free, about a trailer load. Soil here is pretty good. Message me if you would like it otherwise it will go to the dump which seems a waste. Builder is finished, soil will be available now on a tarp in our driveway so very easy access - msg me if you are keen

Does anyone have a campervan, that they would either rent out or sell to suit three people. Would prefer self contained if available.

New Zealand Police's Financial Intelligence Unit estimates New Zealanders lose $20-30 million annually to scams.
HOW TO AVOID A SCAM:
+ A genuine bank or organisation will never contact you to ask for your PIN, password or to move money to another account.
+ Never click on a link in an unexpected email or text – you could be giving access to your personal and financial details.
+ Always question uninvited approaches in case it is a scam. Instead, contact the company directly using a known email or phone number.
+ Don’t assume an email or phone call is authentic – just because someone knows your basic details (name and address, or mother’s maiden name) it doesn’t mean they are genuine.
+ Don’t be rushed into making a decision or financial transaction on the spot – a genuine bank or trusted organisation would never do this.
+ Listen to your instincts – if something feels wrong then it generally is.
If you believe you are the victim of a scam you can contact Police and report the matter via 105.
