Whakatu RDA horses' birthday party last Saturday was a great success on a lovely, sunny day. There was a good turn out of people to meet the horses, watch displays of the work they do, enjoy the food that volunteers had brought in and get their names down for some great raffles.

There was a good turn out of people to meet the horses, watch displays of the work they do, enjoy the food that volunteers had brought in and get their names down for some great raffles.
The Nelson Freemason lodges also took the opportunity to present Whakatu RDA with a cheque for over $4,000 raised by Lodge members and to be used to carry out long overdue fencing and paddock improvements. Thank you to the Freemasons Nelson and NZ from us all at Whakatu RDA.
