NCG enviro group is making beeswax wrappers and we urgently need clean (new/unused) fabric. Anything 30cm or larger would be great! Thanks!

Before that process can begin, the Terms of Reference to define the scope and purpose of the Inquiry need to be set. Sir Anand would like to hear your views on the draft Terms of Reference so we can work together to make sure we don’t repeat the mistakes of the past.

About
Hey neighbours! Global Fashion Revolution week is coming up (April 23-29). Fashion Revolution is a movement that is focused on changing our approach to consumption of clothing and accessories, to one that is based on ethics and sustainability. The fashion industry is the second most polluting on Earth, after oil. Millions of people work in conditions that are physically and mentally devastating. Fashion Revolution is about putting pressure on companies to uphold human rights and to clean up their impact on the planet. To honour this week and raise awareness of this movement, I will be sewing fabric bags for 16 hours daily, on Trafalgar Street, outside the ex-hanafins store. I will sew from 6 am until 10 pm from the 21st until the afternoon of the 28th. There will be plenty of information on display about what I am doing. I will have certain rules to follow to try and represent conditions as closely as I realistically can. I invite you to come and check it out, buy a bag for a 2-5 dollars, and spread the word! Any cash raised will go towards covering my costs (cotton, printing, electricity) and anything above that will go to Fair Trade Nelson. Please check out the facebook event, and click 'going' or 'interested' for more info and updates. Please let me know if you would like to donate some cotton for the project, or even some cash towards the generator I will have to use...I'm a student and paying for this is no easy feat ;) Thanks for reading!
