Radiographers to strike - Are you affected?

Neighbourly.co.nz

Thousands of patients throughout the country are expected to have X-rays cancelled today as a result of strike action by radiographers.

Radiographers are striking today, on Wednesday for 24 hours, and also on October 14. Sonographers will also strike from Thursday to Saturday, and lab workers will strike on October 11.

Immediate cases will be seen to, but patients with non-urgent needs are asked to delay going to hospital for an X-ray.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
