I have a range of mosaic backers (butterflies, bees, heart, tui and fantail) to choose from an two mirror sizes but you have a smaller item like a terracotta pot or saucer flat edge mirror etc you wish to mosaic I am all into recycling and revamping second hand items so you can bring them along.
Learn how to use variety mosaic tools and materials
You will go home with a finished piece of artwork (depending on size and complexity) and the ability to create your own pieces at home.
Morning and afternoon tea will be provided just bring your own lunch.
Parents and children from 10 years and upwards welcome
Suitable for beginners through to some experience.
All basic materials as well as tools/safety equipment will be provided in a heated modern studio. Extra will be charged for more expensive tiles and decorations or for those doing larger projects.

Melissa Ansell-Bridges, Secretary of the NZ Council of Trade Unions, will lead the discussion on the key issues for working people in the election, including: Fair Pay Agreements, Income Insurance, better protections for contractors, pay equity and ensuring adequate government in public services such as health and education.
Melissa holds a BA and LLB(Hons) with majors in Politics and Sociology. She has a particular interest in the rights of contractors and has been a member of the Better Protections for Contractors Tripartite Working Group and the Film Industry Working Group. She is also keenly interested in progressing Gender and Ethnic Pay Equity and is a member of the National Advisory Council on the Employment of Women to the Minister for Women.
