Hello neighbours!
Would you happen to have any unwanted, but still good plastic chairs and/or tables, taking up space in your backyard?
I'd be glad to take them off your hands, and put them to good use at our wee popup cafe* down the bottom of queen street, along the Cycleway.
In return I can offer, along with my sincere gratitude, and a VIP card for free coffee at the cafe, all summer long!

*It's a bit cheeky to ask, I know, but our chairs and tables are available for cyclists to take a break, eat their lunch, etc, even when the cafe itself is closed, so it's really more of a community request, than a business being cheapskates. ❤️

Whistling tree frog tadpoles also called Brown tree frog tadpoles.

Fed on boiled, thinly sliced lettuce. They are very hardy animals and only need a tank/bowl of creek water and some lettuce to survive.
*No Aerator/Heater/Filter needed*

An awesome/educational experience for kids to watch tadpoles grow legs and lose their tail as they transition into frogs.

Great for Pet shops, Home tanks, Grandkids, Christmas, Birthdays and Schools.

Have plenty available.
Can supply hundreds more so feel free to request.

Money raised from tadpoles is going towards a missions trip in Zimbabwe helping less fortunate kids and familys in rural villages.

*Photos for illustration only*
*Price is per tadpole*

The new telescope will be housed in the Cawthron Atkinson Observatory at Clifton Terrace school and used for public viewing nights and education.

The funds will be used to purchase a new and up-to-date telescope, something like a Celestron or Meade 14-inch telescope.
Such a telescope will give nearly 8 times more light gathering capacity, enabling fainter objects like nebulae and galaxies to be seen in detail.

A computer controlled mount will enable quicker location of astronomical objects resulting in more of these being viewed in an evening.

If you wish to donate you can:
a. Go to our Givealittle page at givealittle.co.nz.... Your donation will be eligible for tax credit.
b. If you'd rather send us a donation directly, email Jenny Pollock at nelson.sci.soc@gmail.com and she'll send you the banking details
