I'd be curious to hear people's thoughts on this. Where I grew up we had to keep our cats inside at night to keep them safe from animals that would prey on them, so it seems really odd to me that people would intentionally send them out to poo, prey on birds, risk harm, and do goodness knows else on other people's property. Totally different than how people treat their dogs!

I have received a response from Fulton Hogan (Tasman Journey) who are the local agent for the NZTA. "After the road improvements & street light upgrade works which were undertaken on Rocks Road prior to Easter a fault was identified with some lights. Replacement lights arrived on Friday and will be installed this week".
