How will you be celebrating National Volunteer Week next month?

National Volunteer Week (17-23 of June 2018)
celebrates the 1.2 million Kiwis who are volunteering their time and skills to our communities every year.

The theme this year is Volunteers, The Heart of our Community – By many, the work will be completed, Mā tini, mā mano, ka rapa te whai.

We think this captures the essence of what volunteering is about. This is a time to acknowledge how volunteering efforts contribute to and enrich all communities within Aotearoa.

Would you give up your home for a life on the road? When Lynette and John Valk sold their three-bedroom home in Blenheim to live in a nine-metre motorhome and explore New Zealand, it was easier than they thought, and they don't regret a thing.

"We have seen so many hidden gems of New Zealand that we would never have seen if we were still living in a house," says Lynette.

Does the idea of selling up to make a big life change appeal to you? What changes would you like to make?

June is almost here, so get your bottles, pails, jugs and cans ready to fill them with all the Farm Fresh Milk you want for only $1.50 a litre (1st June - 30th June) in Lower Moutere, 7 minutes drive from Motueka!

Riverside Milk is daily fresh, super creamy non-pasteurised, non-homogenised milk with a subtle base note of vanilla. Unlike standard milk, Riverside Milk has not been processed at all.

We milk our lovely cows on our small farm in the early morning, load the milk in our chilled van and deliver it a few meters straight down the path to our milk vending shed where you can fill your bottles 24/7.

Combined with adherence to the strictest and most comprehensive hygiene and food safety protocols, our raw* milk is the only real deal in the Nelson region. Forget the processed stuff in the supermarket and give pure milk 'like in the olden days' a go.

You can't find any fresher milk than Riverside Milk - and now you won't be able to find any cheaper milk either... Only in Lower Moutere!

*Please note that Riverside Milk is a raw milk supplier: 'Raw milk may contain microorganisms that can cause serious illness. To reduce the risk of illness, raw milk should be heated to at least 70 degree Celsius for one minute. This is critical for infants, young children, the elderly, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems.’ (Ministry of Primary Industries)

Price: $1.50
