Something new is baking at EIT this year
Stefan Schmith is the third-generation baker in his family and is excited about passing on his age-old trade.
German-born and trained Schmith, well known for his wood-fired pizzas served at the Hawke's Bay Farmers Market, will lead the new baking programme at EIT.
The 15-place programme launches in early March with support from chef tutor Korey Field, known for his patisserie skills.
