Napier's water has been given the all clear, how do you think the council has handled the e.coli scare?

Daily testing for e.coli will continue, as will chlorination, until the reservoir has been fully cleaned and is ready to be reintegrated into the Napier city water network.
National water standards require the council to have three consecutive clear readings to reopen a small tank of the Enfield reservoir. The council has also formulated a programme of work to mitigate any future opportunities for e.coli to present in its reservoir. Level two water restrictions remain in place for now, as to clean both tanks at the affected reservoir will mean they are both offline for short periods of time. For those who are unable to tolerate the chlorinated water supply, four chlorine-free taps remain in place at Anderson Park.

HPV-related cancers take a long time to develop, the viruses are mostly transmitted by teenagers and young adults but often aren’t diagnosed until later. That’s why it’s important for children to be immunised when they are young. Around 80% of people will be exposed to HPV at some point in their life. Protecting children before they are exposed to HPV will protect their health in the future.

Sanssar, 39, is a self-confessed "sneaker freak". The Frenchman, who has lived with wife Korreen and three kids in rural Hawke's Bay since 2009, still has a wardrobe jammed full, with about 70 boxes of sneakers, but it's a far cry from the 130 he owned at "peak fetish" about five years ago.

Water Chlorination update:
Chlorination of Napier's water will continue through the long weekend after a second positive result for e-coli in the Enfield Road water reservoir was returned.
However it is the lowest e-coli reading detectable and the source has been isolated to one small tank of the two at the reservoir. That tank has now been shut off until further notice.
An investigation into the source of the e-coli is underway.
The Hawke’s Bay DHB has confirmed that no boil water notice is required, as the e-coli reading is extremely low. There has been no increase in cases of reported illness. For more information please read the media release attached.
