"The council is working on design concepts for the reinstatement of the War Memorial features, with the intention of having them in place by Anzac Day next year."
Will this include the memorial name plaques and eternal flame? The relatives of those who volunteered and were conscripted will not be appeased by a mere web site linked to other NCC business interests.
"lest we forget" or better to get on with business and forget the past with a new name. Utter shame on the previous Dalton/Jack administration who thankfully are fast receding into being nothing but a bad memory.
Hopefully the new council and Mayor can do better and not be reviled like the past administration.
