Young Indian Ringneck

I have a young Indian Ringneck parakeet that needs a new home. She was aviary hatched and raised by her parents, so would suit another aviary with similar sized birds. She is not tame but can be trained, but it will take time and patience. She is white in colour and very cute. Then I was introduced to a Graeme Dingle Foundation programme for young people that need a boost in life. It helped me build my self-confidence and social skills.

We were paired with a mentor, my mentor Tony believed in me like no one else. Because of him I stayed in school, went to university and now have a full time job.

Poll: Should we scrap daylight saving?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

This Sunday we'll be putting our clocks back for the end of daylight saving. Despite the benefits of an extra hour of sun during daylight saving, these clock changes commonly bring disruptions to our households and sleep - some feel that it should be scrapped altogether. What do you think?

If anyone is after some huge corner desks, the hospital has a lot to be disposed of. Most of them are around 1.8m (6โ€™) x 1.8m, and weigh a LOT!

They have been relocated, so time is not such a huge problem, but they still need to be collected form the hospital.

They are in great condition, just dusty, and have been dismantled. There are also shelves available. Please message me on 0277363969 for details of the person to arrange it with. You will need a truck and/or trailer and more than one person.

If you can take them all, for distribution or storage until they can be collected, please do. And yes, you can sell them.
