Thieves

Daphne from Poraiti

How sad that someone is stealing my $2 large bags of plums for sale at my gate. Seems to happen after 4 pm when not many people around. I am happy to gift if the person cannot afford $2 but it would be courtesy to ask. All that’s required is a thank you. I despise those that steal!

My name is Tracey Molloy, and I am a home-based educator with Nurtured At Home. I am a fully qualified, fully registered ECE teacher. I was born and raised in Napier and returned here with my foster son, Kaiden in January 2021, from Upper Hutt where I spent 5.5 years living and working, which is where I fostered my son, Kaiden, who is 7 years old. I have been in early childhood for over 30 years, as a Nanny and as a Montessori/ECE trained teacher. After returning from Bermuda in 2010 I completed my degree in ECE Teaching and got my first job as a qualified teacher in Upper Hutt. Moving forward as home-based educator I will provide your children with learning opportunities to discover, explore and develop independence through art/creative play; exploration of the natural environment (planting and growing plants is one example) and baking. These are just a few of the activities we will do together there will also be opportunities to participate in music groups, play groups and educational excursions. I love working with children and I look forward to working alongside you and your child/ren. Our cat, Carter, has disappeared from Greenmeadows East area. Spriggs, Tait, Alan Styles, Atherfold area.
He’s microchipped, no collar.
Very friendly/nosy so could have climbed into a car, or be stuck in a shed perhaps.
He’s very vocal, so easy to hear him coming. Distinctive features are that he has spots, not stripes. Only a year old so quite lanky/small still.
Please keep an eye/ear out, it’s very unusual for him to not come home 🏡

Wanted ~ someone to help in the garden

Kath from Napier South

We need help in our garden. Would be an hour or two once a fortnight ~ or by negotiation. We are very new at this gardening business, so advice on what we can put in, would be most welcome.
Probably best suited to someone looking for a bit of pocket money ~ not a full-time job!
