New Year, New Resolutions?

Clare from

Most of us make resolutions at New Year, but how long do they last? And how do we make them? Do we write them down, or do we just think about them?
Most resolutions are just thoughts, and most last only as long as the hangover.
But just the single action of writing them down can make a huge difference in whether we do actually succeed in making any changes in our lives. Love her or hate her, Jacinda Ardern had the best idea ever, going into government with a strong, "Things we want to achieve in our first 100 days" policy. An American goals coach, Gary Ryan Blair, is currently promoting a "100 Days Challenge" to help people get their year off to a supercharged start.
I've written down 32 things I want to achieve in the first 100 days of 2018 - and already have crossed off two of them! So give it a go - write down your list of what you want to achieve before April 10th, read it over every day or two - and see what happens in your year. I challenge you!

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
