Our national women’s rugby team took out the Rugby World Cup on Saturday in a tense finale at Eden Park. The Black Ferns won the match by just three points taking home their sixth world title.

With public celebrations taking place following the All Blacks (men's) Rugby World Cup wins (2011 & 2015) as well as parades for the America's cup team, do you think similar celebration plans are needed for our winning Black Ferns women?

MISSING - DOG - (PAKOWHAI, HASTINGS) HAWKES BAY
17.11.22- Posting on behalf of owner. Maggie is still missing as of 9.30am Thursday, 17th November. Maggie is 12 years old and is lost. She is a wire haired, white and tan, Jack Russell and was wearing a collar. She was scared off at the Pakowhai Dog Park on Wednesday 16 November at 11:30 am. Maggie took off and there were several possible sightings of her mentioned on fb seen in and around the Whakatu Industrial Park area (especially on Johnson Way) around 1:30 pm (This area is where the old Whakatu Freezing Works once was.) This area is east / Havelock side of the dog park.
Maggies owner Chris, is an older lady and is naturally very worried. Chris has had Maggie for 12 years. She is not on Facebook and doesnt use social media. She really doesnt know what to do. 💕 So if you are able to help please by sharing this post on ANY PAGE that would be appreciated. And post on your fb page as there are many many businesses in the Whakatu Industrial Park with lots of employees who could keep an eye out. Maggie could be in Clive, Hastings or hiding out in the Whakatu area still or even around the dog park. She will be timid and afraid as she has never left her owners side until today. Is anybody is willing to please assist her owner Chris by making up a flyer asap and printing copies that she and others willing could be delivered all around the Whakatu area and dog park? If so please PM me.
Thank you for any help, sharing this post and offering advice.
Please phone Chris
0274389679 if you see her as she is timid and unlikely to come or message www.facebook.com...

Why does mould appear in the first place?
Mould grows in damp areas where there is a food source such as dust, dirt or organic material. That’s why single glazed or drafty windows, where condensation and dust are common, are often a problem area.

What are some tips for preventing mould growth?
Clean soft furnishings regularly according to the manufacturer’s instructions. This usually involves a regular light vacuum, with less frequent dry cleaning or laundering. Regularly clean windows and wipe down window surrounds and venetian blinds or shutters with a mild detergent in warm water.

Does the material of the curtains affect how much mould will grow?
Yes, consider selecting window coverings manufactured from man-made materials, particularly in damp areas such as the bathroom, kitchen and on south-facing windows. It’s best to use a wipe-able, water-resistant blind or shutter in wet areas like bathrooms and kitchens. Even man-made fabrics don’t cope well in those environments.

How do I remove the mould?
Once mould develops it’s best to nip it in the bud as early as possible with a thorough clean. Some curtains can be hand washed (check the manufacturer’s instructions) but, for best results, we recommend taking them to a specialist cleaner. Curtain Clean services most of the North Island and takes care of all types of curtains and blinds.

Since moisture is the culprit, how can we minimise it in our homes?
- Use lids on pots and pans when cooking.
- Never hang clothes to dry inside and vent your clothes drier to the outside.
