They want a sale and have instructed us to present all offers.
Beginning life as a renowned restaurant and currently operating very successfully as boutique accommodation, The Peppertree works very well as a function centre and would also make a superb cellar door. Located with State Highway frontage close to Blenheim and situated on the soon to open Picton to Kaikoura cycleway, it is ideally positioned to cash in on Marlborough’s growing tourism industry.
Each of the five beautifully appointed suites has been subtly themed, providing individual charm as well as comfort. The heart of the home is a spacious, recently renovated farmhouse kitchen enjoying garden and orchard views. A large wood burner with wetback and solar heats the water for a series of radiators around the house, ensuring warmth year-round.
Encompassing four hectares and featuring organically managed vineyard and gardens, fruit trees, berry patches, olives and grazing for sheep, cattle, and horses, The Peppertree is close to being self-sufficient. The extra land also offers an opportunity for future expansion and development.
The rateable value for land and improvements is $1,520,000.
All offers requested to be received by 4 pm Wednesday 27 November 2019.
For more information or an appointment to view, please contact Michal or Tim.

Do you celebrate Halloween at your house? Why or why not?
And If you don't like trick or treating, how do you make it clear your house is a no-go zone?
We're keen to talk to some people who feel strongly about Halloween one way or the other. If you have thoughts to share, please email homed@stuff.co.nz and we'll be in touch.

I thought I’d write a post for people like me who want the clothes but whose budget is restricted. Just lately, I’ve had some great finds in the many op shops we are lucky to have here. I have made an outfit of a tea dress, clutch bag and a summer hat for a mere $16. This outfit is suitable for daywear and especially the Gatsby Picnic.
This post is just my opinion so do also look at the books in the library or google for inspiration. You may also like to visit Charleston Chic (Masonic Building on Tennyson Street) and Decorum (Herschell Street, across the road from the library. Both shops have layby.
Do not be put off by 1930s fashion images, not many of us could look like this. Waists are normally around the middle of the body, not one third of the way down as in the images. Women were shorter than now too. I find the 1930s look easier to assemble and is far more flattering to most than the dropped waist 1920s look. You may even find that you have a lot of things in your wardrobe and drawers already. Start with a dress. Most colours were fashionable except black or pink. The hemline should be closer to your ankles than your knees. Necklines were round, square and v, with and without collars. Only evening dresses were sleeveless. Belts were usually worn.
My next post will be about accessories.
