Comfortable, but I use a couch cover due to the staining on the couch cushions. Does not come with a cover. There is also loose threads which I would put down to a cat having used as a scratching post at some point. It is very heavy so will require strong people to move it - I am unable to assist with lifting. $75 ono need it gone
