Are you an event organiser? Join this free half day workshop for experienced and early stage event planners in Wairarapa to ensure your H&S plans and processes are tip top. Tue, 2 March 2021 from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM at The Carterton Court House.
Running events can be complex and stressful projects, which require great communication and clear health and safety expectations to ensure all parties understand their responsibilities.
Whether you've done this once, or a thousand times this will be a practical refresher on health and safety planning .
In an interactive session lead by Cathy Knowsley who specializes in health and safety management consultancy for the arts, entertainment,and event industries, you'll cover tips, templates and get guidance across these themes:
An introduction to event health and safety
Events as a workplace.
Legal responsibilities.
Risk management.
Emergency management.
Crowd management.
Health and safety management on site.
In addition to the workshop, Cathy will be available for free one-on-one consultation with the workshop participants to guide them on how to approach health and safety planning and delivery for their specific events.
