"The quick response from both the Wairarapa and Hutt Valley police has produced a fantastic result that our community can be proud of.
"Their excellent work will no doubt provide peace of mind to our Carterton community.
The police are confident there is no risk to the wider Carterton community from the group involved in the burglary.
We are fortunate to live in a close-knit community and incidents like this act as a good reminder that it’s good to look out for your neighbour."
"I urge anyone with information about the remaining three offenders to please contact police," Lang said.
(Police provided photo of the gun suspected in the hold up.)
