Sister Ignatious has a connection to the Cemetery and the grave of a man who had a well reported funeral has now been reported. Many locals recall Dales Furniture shop so it is a pleasure to have a member of the extended family to tell the story. To conclude we will learn of the name Wratt in the history of the town. If your answer is "NO" then put the Remutaka Cycle Trail on your bucket list as this is our region’s Nga Haerenga/Great Ride. It runs from Petone foreshore along the Hutt River Trail, over the Rail Trail to the Wairarapa, down to Ocean Beach, and around the Wild Coast to Orongorongo. You can dip in for a short experience on any section or take a few days to ride the whole trail.
Hot tip – bikes are free on trains and East by West Ferries, or you can hire a bike and arrange shuttles through our Official Trail partners.

Or is the lag only in recognition? Our culture sees travel, romance, war, and children's writing is capable of literary excellence and worthy of academic study, but sports writing stays stuck in the back pages. Roger Robinson (When Running Made History), Suzanne McFadden (Striking Gold), and Keith Quinn (A Lucky Man) argue that New Zealanders can write as well about the sport as they can practice it.

Some nice new growth and tendrils on this young Minibelle Hoya plant.
Hoyas prefer indoors, but will grow outdoors in a very sheltered position.
They produce bunches of flowers in the Summer.
They love trailing over a rail or frame. Large dark green thick leaves which grow on long tendrils.

Minibelle has blooms similar to Hoya Carnosa. Five pointed star shaped velvety blooms with a dark pink centre.
I do have a pic of Minibelle bloom but it is not a good one. It will give you some idea though.
An easy care plant. They do like light but maybe not direct sunlight. Let them dry out between waterings, so don't panic if you forget to water them. A very popular houseplant.
Pickup is in Kuripuni.
Thanks for looking.

I may look like a typical wild rabbit, but I can assure you I am not. My Mum was a domestic rabbit and super sweet. I am good with people I know, and am still young and still learning. I have an inquisitive nature and would love a home with people who will have me around them, either as a solely indoor rabbit, or mostly indoors. I will need a large outdoor area with a weatherproof hutch or shelter for days when the weather is nice. I will need to be inside as part of the family at night, so a hutch or area inside with you is important. I would also like a female rabbit for company, so if you have a lonely rabbit maybe we could be friends?

For continuity of riding, corner marking is an important part of the ride and will be explained at ride briefing.
Riders are expected to travel at a pace they are comfortable with. This is not a Targa type speed event, and, aside from mechanical issues, it's about enjoying the company and the ride.
Total distance is approximately 315kms, taking 4 3/4hrs plus stops and lunch (estimated at 6hrs total). Lunch is planned for Shannon in the Horowhenua. The stops are to allow all riders to regroup if spread out.
There will opportunities for time constrained riders to break off at these stops and return home to their other duties.
See you there at Memorial Square, with full tanks, correct tyre pressures, lubed chains and let's go have some fun.
