All regions outside of the Auckland and Northland region will move to Alert Level 3 11.59pm Tuesday August 31.

In a press conference Friday afternoon, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern confirmed that Auckland and Northland will likely need to complete a further full two weeks at level 4 in order to keep the Delta variant from spreading further in the regions.

Here's what you need to know
- There will be regional boundaries, there will be no travel allowed between regions unless required for essential services.
- Boundaries maintained in the last February lockdown will be reinstated.
- Around 500 locations of interest have been identified.
- The exposure site in Warkworth is a large workplace. Ardern hoped the people of Northland will understand why they're moving with caution. Northland won't always be grouped in with Auckland.

Hi Neighbourly people,

www.parliament.nz...

We are facing a community issue here in the South Wairarapa our Council consulted on rates in the 14% range and then charged us an average of 28%.
Anyone can sign this petition put together by two young rural women concerned about the misrepresentation of our recent rates rise. Residents and non residents can sign, and so if you want to support the local South Wairarapa Community in their fight to get a review of the process of consultation and rates levied, sign it and forward to your friends.
The actual 29.6% was developed by another ratepayer based on LTP numbers and he is prepared to address at Parliament if needed.
Prospective statement of Revenue and Expenses in the LTP on page 108
Rates 2020/21 $15,371,000 - agrees with above previous annual plan
2021/22 $19,921,000 - this is an increase of 29.6% in total rates for South Wairarapa!!
If you support the South Wairarapa community please support this petition.

Lockdown and birthdays are two words that do not go well together.
Children love celebrating their birthday but with social distancing and bubbles birthday parties are no go under lockdown.
When Emery Maclean set out on her morning lockdown walk with mum Abby Vogel and big sister Avah she quickly realised this one was extra special.
Within minutes the 4-year-old spotted a collection of balloons tied to a gate – and the shocked girl was told by her mum they were for her birthday.
It is lovely to see neighbours pitching in to help the youngster. If you have a birthday or a especial anniversary (wedding, 21st etc), have you thought about how you are going to celebrate it?
