Thousands of horse riders around the country say they no longer feel safe riding on rural roads and would like to have the Government lower the speed limit and increase the distance between horses and cars on the roads.


More than 100 horse riders, politicians, mounted police and members of the community rode through Dairy Flat on November 19 for the National Ride for Road Safety event to raise awareness.

Top
